All registered Tropical 5K participants will receive a Finisher’s medal (pictured right) upon crossing the finish line and will be eligible to earn the overall and age group awards listed below. You must be wearing the official race bib assigned to you in order to receive a Finisher’s medal.
Overall Awards
Overall award plaques will be given to male and female winners in the following categories.
- Overall Male (3 deep)
- Overall Female (3 deep)
- Masters
- Handcrank
- Pushrim
Age Group Awards
Custom designed medals will be awarded 3 deep for males and females in each the following divisions:
- Ages 10 and under
- Ages 11-14
- Ages 15-19
- Ages 20-24
- Ages 25-29
- Ages 30-34
- Ages 35-39
- Ages 40-44
- Ages 45-49
- Ages 50-54
- Ages 55-59
- Ages 60-64
- Ages 65-69
- Ages 70-74
- Ages 75-79
- Ages 80+
Tropical 5K overall and age group awards will be distributed during the awards ceremony at the post-race Finish Festival at Nikki Beach. If you do not receive your award during the ceremony, you MUST email us at FLevents@LT.LIFE within one week post-race with your bib number to verify your place and mailing address to which we will send the medal free of cost. After one week, you must pay $5 for an age group medal or $10 for an overall award plaque to be mailed to you. Note: we will be unable to issue awards after one month post-race (February 26, 2019 deadline).
