Finisher Awards
Medals
All finishers will receive a unique Finisher’s medal to commemorate their #MiamiFamous moment. To our knowledge, the Life Time Miami Marathon and Half was the first race in the world to have a spinning medal when it originated at our race in 2004.
Overall Awards
Overall award plaques will be distributed to the top 3 finishers of the Marathon and Half Marathon distances at the Awards Ceremony at the post-race Finish Festival.

Rules:
- An athlete can only receive an overall award in a single category. Those who place in the top 3 of their overall category will be removed from contention in the Age Group awards categories.
- Only those who are registered as an Elite are eligible for the Elites Overall awards.
- Only those registered as Age Group athletes who are 40 years of age and older on race day automatically qualify for the Masters category.
- Athletes who do not attend the Awards Ceremony must reach out to MiamiMarathon@LTevents.zendesk.com within one month of the race date to request shipment of their overall award. The award will be shipped one time. Shipping fees will apply.

Rules:
- An athlete can only be awarded prize money in one category.
- Athletes are only eligible for prize money for the category in which they are registered. For example, only those who are registered as an Elite are eligible for Overall Elite prize money.
- Only those registered as Age Group athletes who are 40 years of age and older on race day are automatically qualified for the masters category.
- To process prize money US citizens must possess a social security number and provide a completed W9 form. Foreign citizens must provide a completed W8BEN form.
- Prize purse checks will be issued and mailed one time only. The default mailing address will be what is indicated on the W9/W8BEN form. While a tracking number will be provided, we strongly encourage foreign citizens to provide a US address.
- All checks must be cashed within 6 months, or will be cancelled, and NOT re-issued.
Age Group Awards
Custom designed Age Group awards will be awarded 3 deep to males and females in each of the below categories for both the Marathon and Half Marathon distances.
Rules:
- Life Time Miami Marathon & Half Age Group awards will be mailed within 3 weeks post-race to the address provided within your registration, free of cost.
- If you need to change the mailing address, you MUST email us at MiamiMarathon@LTevents.zendesk.com within 2 days post-race. Note: we will mail this one time and are unable to issue replacement medals.
